STACL Day One
Character and Ship Setup
The setup is involved but thanks to a graph visualizing it doable. I got confused in the middle of it, not knowing if one or two steps are mandatory or optional, and managed to make a mistake by generated too many points and an extra focus. Fortunately, Modiphius built in a checkpoint (sum of points can only be X) and I corrected that.
Star ship generation was pretty straight forward. Since I wanted to play a character inspired by Peter F. Hamilton’s Edenist culture, I opted to bend an existing vessel to my needs. That still leaves me with the problem that ships in Star Trek are slow during intergalactic travel, and I want to have a ship that travels through self-generated wormholes.

Naiad rebelled against his elitist upbringing. He felt the urge to explore both places and alternate ways of thinking from an early age on, which lead to the decision to join Starfleet against society’s expectations and norms. Admiral Tsun mentored him during his fast track through Starfleet Academy, teaching him Control and, after hours, the ways of the saboteur.
